Progress bar which doesn't progress
Hello everyone,
First of all thanks to all of you, who are reading this post and trying to help me out here.
Ok. Here is the problem, I would like to create a progress bar in VB6, in which I don't know the maximum value, so I would like it just to go from left to right while the program is running and also, the white screen should not come up. I asked quite a few people this question, but somehow nobody knows the answer. I've been searching for this thing so long. Finally, I found this link http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/is...s/default.aspx
in which the author explains how to create that progress bar -but it is in VB.Net, and I do not have any clue of .Net. So can anybody be kind enough and help me to convert this code to VB. That would be awesome. I'd really aprreciate it. BTW, I've emailed that author asking to convert that code to VB.
Well, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Heres a code i made that goes to 100% and goes from left to right. you can download and view it yourself. I uploaded it on to my server so you may use. You can also stop the progressbar and restart it at its last position.

Thank you both.
Sorry XRsTX, I was not clear when I said from left to right, I meant it should keep moving from left to right till the program has reach its end.
Phil, thank you very much, I think what you gave me solve my problem as soon as I make it work. Thanks for the link though. I appreciate it.
