Unhappy Adding files to visual Studio.net issue

    Hello,

I have source code of a web application in donkey folder. There are lot of subfolders for images and other .aspx files etc.

There is not Visual studio.net solution file. Now I created a new project from VS.net 2003.

    1. I clicked on new and selected New Project then selected C#, ASP.net then location I gave as Donkey folder. Though I can see the solution created in the folder and I clicked on Show all files, I am not able to see all the files.

Do I need to manually add all the subfolders and the files in the root directory to the project or is there any way to do that.

    Pls help

After you select "Show All Files," you can highlight the folders you wish to include in the project, right-click and select "Include in Project." Alternatively, you may right-click on the project and select "Add Existing Item...", then browse to the files you wish to include and add them to the project.

    Thanks Phil.

the issue is that after I click on show all files I am not able to see the folders I have in my project directory. My question is, how do I add all the subfolders./files into my project directory

I don't know, I am not able to reproduce the behavior you describe. "Show All Files" should show all files and folders under the project directory. You might try creating a new project in a different location and using "Add Existing Item" to recreate the existing project.
