The conventional wisdom is that I have a recursive situation.
I don't see how. I think I know what the problem is, see below. But, I don't know how to correct avoid the work-around.

Maybe this would better be posted to another forum, if so please advise and I will post it there with a cross reference to here. Thanks.

I am using VB6 WebBrowser to access a site that downloads JavaScript.
I am automating Postings to that site.
The site recognizes the Posted string and responds correctly except that it does not finish the download. Instead I receive the following 'Info':

Windows Internet Explorer
An error has occured in the script on this page
Line 7
Char 3
Error Object doesn't support this property or method
Code 0
Url http://www. etc....
Do you want to continue running script on this page?
Yes No

Sending a vbCR forces the completion of the download.
Then I receive the following:

Windows Internet Explorer
Stack overflow at line 15

Sending a vbCR clears the error message.

My suspicion is that the web site is returning to a script that does not recognize the download.

Using a web sniffer I have discovered that the web site reloads lots and lots of JavaScripts each time it responds to a Post.

Thanks for any help.
