AJAX call at Page Onload (https)

Hello all,

Im using an ajax call on page onload event. The page is an https site. whenever I used that, the IE gives an error "can't open page - <URL> Operation aborted" and shows the error "Page cannot be displayed" . But I use Ajax calls thoughtout the page (for other events like onClick, onChange ). But if i use the exact ajax call at the onLoad event, it gives the above error.

Im new to Ajax. Any help on this is really appreciated.
