    Permission denied

    The below code causes Permission denied Error Type: Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A0046)

    objFSO.CopyFile "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\FilesFolder\mmc.gif", "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\UploadFiles\"

    Please help

    Looks like the user account running the code does not have the necessary permissions for the source or destination folders, or both. Either grant the user account the necessary permissions or change the identity of the application to an account with the necessary permissions.

    Thank you, I cannot open my IIS to check the permission options. So I may need to reinstall IIS to able to run this code.

    By the way, I need to upload photos from a common location with standard file names in a series (e.g., "slide1" to "slide50") I'm hoping for something as simple as pointing to the client-side directory(on client machine) where the slides are and indicating that there are a certain number there (e.g. 50) and the upload will proceed to upload them and put them all in a server side directory. Do you know how to do that?

    The only way I know how to upload a file from a Web browser is with the <input type="file"> element, which is limited to uploading one file at a time. If you want to automatically upload a group of files, you'll need to use a Java applet or other client-side application to do so.
