    General DB Connection question

I am creating a sports website and it will be making DB connections to receive statistics and player information. There are a few pages that need to query 3 different tables in my DB in order to display the desired content.

I am using loose-typed datasets that are being filled by a class in my app_data folder. Each table query I do is a separate connection to the DB....
so my question is.... Will there be a problem if these pages that are querying 3 tables will be viewed around 1000 times per month?

This is the code I have in the class:
Public Function selectCommandProvideString(ByVal queryString As String) As Data.DataTable
'Fill a datatable with the information asked by the -Select- commandstring
Dim Constring As String = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings("BirdieClickConnectionString1").ConnectionString
Dim DatAdapt As New Data.SqlClient.SqlDataAdapter(queryString, Constring)
            Dim dataTbl As New Data.DataTable
            'return th datatable
            Return dataTbl
        End Function
