Best Way to Build Cool but yet simple Ajax pages?
Hi
I am new here and I just started looking into Ajax and I was wondering which is the best way to work with Ajax. Like which IDE would be the best to use to make a website like www.apple.com (check the search thing on the top right).
I tried out the GWT but it doesn't seem like the best solution to use for making a nicely designed website like apple's.
Then I tried out Sun's Studio Creator but that uses jsp which I do not want to have to use.
I want an IDE that will allow me to use nice graphics easily and make Ajax stuff that do not need any server technology more expensive or widely available on servers than PHP.
I am used on making Flash websites where designing and controlling graphics is sooo easy and flexible and anything else seems hard to use but I want to be able to make stuff that do not need the Flash Player but look cool and are robust.
Waiting for your thoughts.
Thanks
ponggr
