    Grid Columns - Sorting Arrow

    is there a way to know when that sorting arrow is added to the grid colomn header. so that i can widen the columns accordingly?

    Unhappy ???

    You can capture column header click event and column index, so where is the problem?

    how do i know if that sorting arrow is in the column header. I have done what your talking about but i didnt know what i was looking for and couldnt find anything that related the sorting arrow in the column heeader.

    Please specify .NET version and the control that you use.

    OK
    I hope you use DataGridView or DataGrid control.
    Check those properties:
    • SortedColumn,
    • SortOrder

    Events:
    • Sorted
    • ColumnHeaderMouseClick
