We are having a difficult time getting started on this, and were hoping for some overall advice and/or good references.

We have some older COM+ components that exist and are registered on a server computer and are used currently through some ASP (NOT .NET developed) pages existing on that computer, accessed through a browser anywhere outside of said server.
Ideally, we want to develop a VB.NET application (VS2005) that would run on a different computer and access those objects that exist that way. We would rather not include the .DLL's as part of the .NET app, as we don't want the code, or the program, to exist in two different places. This might sound simple enough, but we don't have much experience in this and have found LOTS of various stuff in doing web research and haven't found quite the right fit yet. Thanks in advance for any replies and thoughts on the best solution.
