    Exclamation Help me for baud rates

    hello,
    I developed a dll which and my pc connect in a serial port and I m sending packets from that pc with different baud rates but when I m trying to open the com port at 128000 or 256000 baud rates it throws an error messaage that cant open the com port.
    I search a lot for this ,but I cant find the solution.In google one note I read was that "some pc not support these baud rates " so plz help me out from these problem

    change your setting first to 9600 baud and see if that works. If you still cannot open the com port, then either it does not exist in your hardware (physically or in the drivers and settings) or something else is using it already. It is a common problem that a program that crashed keeps control of a com port until reboot (you can force it to stop in other more complex ways, which I will not go into here).

    Let us know once you have tried this if you are still having problems. Many older computers do not support above 115200 baud.
