hey this is mary and i wanted to know would this work
my WMM keeps crashing and im wondering if i undowload some stuff i dont use on my cp will this help it from not crashing my computer thanks

and ur cp is similar to a pc in the inverse sence ?

loool just kidding, since u don't need those stuff why just keeping them ? and why u still using this bad vista, at least have SP1 from microsoft website, this will fix things a lot ... but not garanted to fix ur specific issue since u never explained what happens exactly ??? any more details ?

We definately need more details before we could suggest a cause and solution.

I'd m sure you are running a virus checker and that it is completely up-to-date with the latest information. You imply you download a lot and that often can lead to viruses. If you have a virus (which is something that could shut down your computer like you describe), then removing programs from the CP won't likely help.

It could also be that something has gone wrong in Vista. You'll want to make sure that the computer you are running is actually Vista compatible. If you bought it from a store with Vista on it, then that should be confirmation (for the most part) that it is Vista compatible.

As stated, it would be good to have additional information to be able to actually help you. Information such as:

- are there any messages before it shuts down?
- does the screen go blue before it shuts down?
- are you generally running a specific application or doing something specific when it shuts down?
- have you installled SP1 for Vista?
