    New to the programming world

I'm 23 years old and I've been going from job to job struggling with the bills just like the rest of america. I've decided that it wasn't going to help me much and thought I should specialize in something. A friend of mine is a programmer and he suggested I should become a programmer. I researched it a bit and I do find it very interesting. At my current age, do you think its too late for me to learn programming language? Also, I would like to get into the gaming industry as well. Somebody please reply with a serious and descriptive response, thank you!

I actually laughed out loud when I read your post (no disrespect intended).

Too late??????????? I didn't get started in my programming career until after I'd turned 30. LOL (and I've now been at it for almost 30 years)

If you are interested in gaming, look into learning C++
