    Excel VBA - Calendar Controls

I suspect I know the answer to this question, but I'll ask anyway.

Are there any calendar controls that can be added directly to a worksheet, or are the available calendar controls strickly for use on a UserForm?

In case someone stumbles across this thread and wonders, after almost a week, I haven't found anything, so the answer to my question apparently is No.

The Microsoft Monthview Control (SP6) works just fine if you add it directly to a spreadsheet.

How do you add it directly to a spreadsheet? I can use it on a UserForm, but I don't even get a toolbox with just the spreadsheet. All I get are the standard controls that are added to my toolbar when I click "Visual Basic" from View/Toolbars.

    Under view>toolbars select Control Toolbox.

It will show the basic controls you can add, like command buttons and textboxes, but that toolbox also has a button that has a hammer and a wrench crossed. If you click that button, you can then scroll through the entire list of possible controls.

Scroll down to the Microsoft Monthview Control. Cick on it once, and then click on the spreadsheet. Don't try to drag it.

What version of Office are you using.

Look at the attachment to see where it is in Office 2003.

I will try to get a screenshot of it for Office 2007, also.

I've done that, but when I click the Control Toolbox, the only thing that happens is the icon on my toolbar becomes active.

This is what I am talking about, if you can find the circled button on the Control toolbox.

Oh yeah, I've got that, but in spreadsheet mode, it doesn't do anything.

I need to be in ALT+F11 mode to actually get the toolbox.

Well from all the zip files I've attached to forum posts over the years, this is a first.

What version of winzip do you have?

Yeah, after looking again at the error, I think my work network blocked the download.

Sorry. I will try to get it on my phone.
