For certain file types I can see this, but developers almost live on .zip files.

I work for a bank as a BA. I am not officially a developer. Just someone who is overqualified for the job.

LOL - I wish some of the BAs I've had to work with on prior projects knew as much about coding as you appear to.

Job market isn't great for programmers in Saint Louis. That is why I am doing this.

Was that excel file supposed to be blank???

I have added a Monthview control to the spreadsheet. Is this what you are wanting to do?

Yeah, that is what I thought, and I don't get that.

The toolbox does not actually appear for me unless I dealing with a userform.

When I have just a spreadsheet, I get nothing when I click on Control Toolbox.

After you select the Control Toolbox from the View>Toolbars menu, does it have a checkmark next to it?

If it does, then it appeared somewhere, maybe on the bottom of the application, maybe to the side, maybe it is a floating window that has been dragged off the side of the screen.

If it doesn't have the check next to it, then I don't know what to tell you. I guess it is possible that that functionality wasn't installed with your excel. That seems unlikely, though.

    UPDATE:
Looking again, right-click on your toolbars and then go down to dustomize. Click the Commands tab. On the left listbox, you should be able to scroll down to Control Toolbox, then on the right, if you scroll through, find the "More Controls". Drag this button onto one of your toolbars that you can already see.

You should then be able to click that button on that toolbar and select any control that it shows. Be sure to Click the control and then click in the spreadsheet where you want to place it. You can't drag it off of the More Controls dropdown.

This topic is interesting. I don't quite familiar with the VBA, and the controls in VBA. First time to think about in VBA with calendar control. It worth discovering.
