Sr. Java Developer Needed for Boston, MA area ASAP!
Hi everyone!
I have a long-term opportunity for a Sr. Java Developer! This is a 12 month contract position (potential to be extended) in Billerica, MA.
Qualified individual will be responsible for software development, understanding the technical design to include use case, sequence diagrams, object model and translating them into actual code. Candidate needs to be able to work with minimal supervision, within a team, and be able to effectively communicate within the team and the functional users. Prepares application systems specifications; plans, implements and coordinates system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance; analysis and development of Web based applications.
US CITIZEN REQUIRED
1. Minimum of 6 years software application development experience. Experience should include web based software development, software generation (actual coding), and troubleshooting analysis for large Enterprise solutions with high availability and high performance requirements.
2. Comprehension of technical designs to include use cases, sequence diagrams, object model and translating them into actual code.
3. In depth experience with technologies such as Java, Java Script, J2EE, Web Services, IBatis, and AJAX, Oracle PL/SQL on a Solaris/Apache based environment.
4. Ability to analyze, evaluate, modify, configure, test, and ensure system specifications are designed to meet requirements and/or implement business specific/enterprise-wide internally developed and/or purchased systems (e.g. SAP, Peoplesoft, etc).
5. Thorough understanding and wide application of technical theories.
DESIRED:
1. Experience with SmartClient Isomprphic, Eclipse IDE, Subversion source control, Spring Framework and JBoss.

4 year degree required
