Application manager
Hi all,
I need some advice. I am at the moment using a .bat file to load given applications at start up of my Windows XP Pro PC (Data processor) and It does not look very nice.
What I would like to do is have a VB6 app load first and then that app would the control what other apps load (example it would load the dataFile.exe and then wait for 10 seconds and then it would load the csvProc.exe and so on)
Is this possible with VB6? or should I just stick to the .bat file?
Thanks
Andy

Yes it is possible... Time to use your friends (yahoo, google, ask, answers, bing) and search for vb6 run at startup. You might also want to investigate the use of a timer and or sleep function (API) for the delay between other applications starting up. Also another search term if you wish to minimize this "master" program to the systray is, vb6 systray icon...
Good Luck

Do you have the VB6 app built and just need to know how to auto start it at login time, or do you need help with building the app and getting it to auto start at login time?
