    HTML to XML

    I am converting an HTML website to a new flash based website. The new flash website is controlled by XML files so I can alter the text that appears. There is a style sheet that controls the fonts, an options xml that controls the layout of the main site, a menu xml that specifies the menu options, and then one xml for each menu/submenu and an associated swf for that menu /submenu. I'm trying to embed a swf within the website right now that was originally created to load in an HTML browser and has an XML that controls it in addition to the HTML loading code. Can anyone help me create an XML document I can use to load this into the website (two separate or one XML files if needed)? The menu tags typically look like this:

    Here's the HTML file that controls the swf:
    <html xmlns="" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <title>Steve and Jenna Murray Wedding Video</title>
    <body bgcolor="#000000" link="FFFFFF" vlink="FFFFFF" alink="#C0C0C0">
    <table width="640">
    <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase=",0,0,0" width="640" height="480" id="FlashDVD" align="middle">
    <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
    <param name="movie" value="FlashDVD.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><embed src="FlashDVD.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#000000" width="640" height="480" name="FlashDVD" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="" />
    <tr><td align="right">
    <a href="">Visit UVP Video</a>

    Here's a portion of the XML file that controls the swf:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
    <!-- Generated by Adobe Encore -->
    <!-- Preset FLV NTSC 640x480+v0400-96s -->
    <AuthoredContent version='1.0'>
    <stage width='640' height='480'/>
    <Action type='DisplayItem' target='8'/>
    <Action type='DisplayItem' target='8'/>
    <!-- Dinner -->
    <DisplayItem id='1' type='title'>
    <!-- Chapter 1 -->
    It then goes on to specify media to be played and location of graphics for buttons. The file was created using Adobe Encore CS 3 if that helps at all. Thanks for your help!

    The swf player appears but video does not appear in the player. I am also unable to move the player within the window. The typical commands like "center" seem to have no effect. Thanks for your help.

    See the user guide to your SWF player - I think you need to specify additional parameters like flashvars to set the path to video you need to load to the player.
