How Can I convert the ASCII data to Oracle Database

Kindly let me know, how can i convert the data of ASCII file to ORACLE 8
database.

Hello,
You can use SQL* Loader to do this. You have to write one control file
which will tell oracle about the format of the data in the ASCII file. For
more inoformation on using SQL* Loader see Oracle manuals.
