    Hello Amith,

The best way to transfer data from SQL Server to Oracle is using the DTS
tool, you can find this tool installing the SQL Server Client.

    I hope that help you.

    Hi,

Alternatively, you can create a ODBC on the SQL SERVER pointing to the Oracle
database. Then, create a linked server (option under the security node, in
    the Enterprise manager).

Once the linked server is created, you can run a query like this, within
    the SQL environment.

    Insert into ORACLE_SERVER.<database>.<owner>.<object>
    Select from sql.dbo.table

    Regards
    Raj
(More documentation can be found in detail in the books online)

    Hi,

you can connect to SQL Server using hs-services from Oracle.
It is not the Oracle-certified solution but it works well.

I tested both the ODBC Driver and OLEDB Provider.
    Hier ist some usefull links:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd_a87860/doc...0/hs_conce.htm
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd_a87860/doc...0/hs_admin.htm

    Best Regards
    Igor
