Problems with MS SQL 6.5 for ERIC 2000

To All Experts please help me with my problem

Is it possible to have a Windows 2000 OS in client computer with MS SQL
Server 6.5 client back-end? I try installing MS SQL 6.5 but an error message
will appear "This version may not running properly with this version of Windows".
Is the MS SQL 6.5 compatible with Windows 2000?

Currently running MS SQL 6.5 client utilities without any problems on Windows
2000. I recieved the error too but I have noticed nothing wrong.
