I am aware that you can drag an email message to the tasks folder and then
click save as to convert it to a task. I have set up a helpdesk public folder
that posts as tasks objects. I gave that public folder the email address
helpdesk@xxxxxx.com My goal is to have people email that and have requests
or problems post as tasks but they post as email messages. This does not
aalow me to assign it an owner or put up percentages or due date. I have
also tried to set the folder to only allow tasks to be posted but then it
rejects the email with a forms error.

Does anyone know a ay I can convert email to tasks on the fly (without me
interveining?. I checked in the folder assistand and email rules and it
doesnt do it there either.
