    Client/server app control..

my client portion runs minimized and places a status icon in the system tray.
As the business status updates, my server side updates the clients with
the updated information. It is functioning just fine, I just can't for the
life of me fiqure out how to alter the icon. I just want to change the icon.
Say the system is normal and a green icon is displayed. Now the system
goes to critical and I need to update all the client's to display a red icon.
What is the easiest way to manipulate the icon? I don't want to have to
stop and start a different icon file for each status.

    Please help?!
