Upsizing from access 97 to sql server 7
Do you have any experience with this? I have a access 97 db (tables
only) that I want to upsize. I tried to pull it from the sql server side
using the data transformation services export feature in Enterprise
Manager but lost keys and indexes. I re-established the keys. I could
read from the db using vb and ado butcould not figure out how to write
to it.
I then tried to push the db from the access side using the access
upsizing tool (which is very poorly documented by the way) with no luck
so far. I have checked the MSDN site for technical articles on this but
again poorly documented.
The few articles that are posted don't help much.
Any advice?

Re: Upsizing from access 97 to sql server 7
Since the Access db is made up of tables only, I resorted to doing an import
from the sql side and then creating the keys, indexes and relationships in
sql server. I am able to write ok now.
