    Loading an image

    I'm trying to use this code to load an image but nothing appears in my applet
    window. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here? Thanks.

    -----------------------

    import java.applet.*;
    import java.awt.*;

    public class Hello extends Applet {
    public void paint(Graphics g)
    {
    Image myImage;
    myImage = getImage(getDocumentBase(), "wz.bmp");
    g.drawImage(myImage, 10, 10, this);
    }
    }

    Friend,
    There is nothing wrong with the code.
    But check whether the JPG file is in the same directory
    where your class file is there.
    One more thing is that , check the image object after getimage()
    function is it null? if yes then check the error code.
    You should get it.

    Hello:

    Make sure the image file is in the same folder as the HTML file that contains
    the applet (that's where getDocumentBase() will look). Also, try it with
    a GIF or JPG instead of a BMP.
