Greetings,

I've been having problems with unwanted ads popping up through the windows
messenger and I was told that the proper way to stop them is to set the firewall
properly instead of disabling the messenger. The problem is that every time
that I try to access the firewall through Start-Control Panel-Network Connections
- Properties ( for DSL )- Advanced Tab, there's a message comming up saying
that the wmi may be corrupted and suggest me to restore the computer to an
earlier date(which I've done but still doesn't work)and the checking box
to have the firewall on doesn't appear on the screen. Could, please somebody
tell me what to do ?
Best Regards

Eddie
