    No. Visual Basic was pronounced dead in 2001. It lived a healthy and vigorous life,

    Hi!

    If I understand correct your answer you mean/said that VB development as
    language is dead-end street and is better to focus on C# or something else.
    If yes what do you suggest?

    If the .net platform appeals to you, yes. C# is by far the more promising
    investment, given it's been submitted before international standards bodies, and
    presumably won't be _as_ subject to the whims of some snotnose assessment of "cool" a
    few years down the road. If you think .net is simply a big mistake, and little
    beyond overblown marketecture, you might want to take a look at products from
    companies that are more committed to their customers long-term investments.
