    ASP and XML

Would it be beneficial for me to use ASP to generate an XML file (using style
sheets) from an oracle database instead of generating dynamic html? Which
would be faster and why should i use one or the other...?

    Vinny,
Neither of them can be categorised as "faster" or "slower" per se. But the
idea is the usability. Some techniques are more usable in some scenarios,
    some are not!
XML will be benificial to you, if you need to parse "data" at your HTML side.
Which means that you want to know what tags have come with what values. I
would not care for the data, if my intention was just to print a report,
but I definitely want to know abt the data, if I have to do a calculation
    based upon it.
In either case I (personally) would go for XML, because handling XML is actually
    clean and easy..

Yes if you want to play with data on client side with out making
to and from trips from client to server. It is just amazing.
