    NT Event Logging

I am writing an application which requires writing events to the NT
event log. I have everything working as long as I don't use a usersid
in the reportevent API call. As soon I place the reference to the
usersid in the call, it fails. I know that the sid is correct, it
passes the IsValidSid test without error. It just doesn't seem to work
properly with the reportevent API. Any suggestions or help would be
    deeply appreciated.
