    Build Log In Index

I'm on a computer network.  No one gets into my computer network without my username and password.

BUT, I'm registered to so many web sites and each with various names (someone keeps taking my favorite usernames) and passwords. I can't keep track anymore.

I want a program that stores my url's, usernames and passwords (encrypted of couse).  I can design the data base, encryption, show a list box, and use browser to go to desired page.

Can anyone tell me how to goto the desired HTML Form Input box, insert text (for username and password) and click the submit button all automatically? My vb is ok, my html is ok, but getting them to work together, arrgh, still a beginner.

Why reinvent the wheel? There is a good program for this on ZDNET called password pro. See http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,000U0V,.html

The reason is not simply to re-invent the wheel, it's to learn how to use VB to manipulate web page controls, ie entering form text and activate form buttons (particularly submit).

I really have a desire to learn, can you help?

Probably the best solution is to use the Internet API to post values to the web site. There is an example of this at <A HREF = 'http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=856'>http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=856</A>. You can design the UI to include entry of the names of the username and password boxes and then design your project to include these (and their values) in your post request.
