Can someone tell me how to Reliably!! put my App on the Explorer Right Click
Menu (Context Menu) for all files and folders?

I did the following in Windows 98 and it worked perfectly

Call savestring(HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, "\AllFileSystemObjects\Shell\My Program\command",
"", "c:\Myprogs\MyProg.exe %1")

This set up the correct entry in the registry

When clicked it started myprog.exe with a command string of the full path
of the file or folder

BUT
In Win Me it didn't work.
Instead I got a message "Cant find the program ????????????.exe which is
needed to open files of type .doc (or whatever extension I happened to pick)

Research so far

I have looked in the registry and see that other Right click menu software
such as Winzip uses the registry entry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandler\winzip with the default value
of what I believe is Winzip's CLSID:
{E0D79300-84BE-11CE-9641-444553540000}
which is specified in:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E0D79300-84BE-11CE-9641-444553540000} with the default
value "Winzip"
