    Color

I have a standard .exe with multiple screens. I would like to change the colors
on the screens. HOwever, the only colors that I can get the background color
property to accept are those that are displayed on the color pallette.

How can I get custome colors to be displayed. I have tried to simply type
the hex values into the property box but that didn't work.

    TIA

What didn't work about it? You're talking about form backcolors, right?
Should be no problem, except that in 256-color systems most colors will be
dithered... Some controls (textbox, for one) are not "palette aware" and
further won't show dithered colors in their backcolor, so for these you are
SOL without going to more than 256-color video.
