I need to know if this can be done in VBA for ACCESS

I was wondering if you can apply a "find" to a table. Where you type a key
word in the txtbox and when you hit a submit cmdButton, it will look at each
record field and search for the key word even if the data is in a field is
in string of format. An example of this is if I'm looking for "XML" and the
colum [book description] holds the following record in it "In 1999 Paul witter
wrote his first book XML in 300 day. This book proved to be to long and was
revised to XML in 1 hour."

Please any help you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks alex

    Hi Alex

I assume you're using Access, if so look up the FindRecord method in help.

    regards

I use the find command button that is created by the wizard or located on
the toolbar to search log book entries that we make.
