Anyone seen this problem?

You're linking to tables in an external .mdb file from within an ACC2K app.

Your linking to them using DAO's append method.

You previously had these linking routines optimized in ACC97
but now they ( namely the append method ) are so slow that
it renders the whole linking routine unacceptably slow.

What I've tried is to set up a loop using ADOX catalogs.
It works right up until the append method where it fails.
It doesn't matter if it's linked (externally) or
a native user-defined jet table in the database being linked. The provider
strings are correct, the table gets created, and the properties can be written
but it just won't append.

I can send the code to anyone who is willing to help.
