    Creating relationships between linked tables

    Hi!

How can I create relationships between fields in two linked tables in Microsoft
Access database. The problem is that tables are linked.

Re: Creating relationships between linked tables

If you're saying that each of the tables is in a different database, you
can't create a relationship between them (at least, not one that supports
RI). This is because it's entirely possible to use one of the databases
    without the other.

If, on the other hand, your two tables are in fact in the same database,
then you set the relationship in that database, not the one that is linked
    to them.

Yes, the tables are in different databases. I can create relationships between
them with Microsoft Access. Why is it not possible with Visual Basic?

Can't think of any reason why the method would work in Access but not VB.
However, as I pointed out before, you're fooling yourself if you think the
    relationships are doing any good.
