Switch between forms without losing data

I have a problem with a database application.
This application has mutliple forms. I want the user to select a form
without unloading the first one. In both forms you can access the database.
Now the problem is: When you select the second form, the first one accesses
the database also. I want to let both forms work independantly from one another.
    How can I realise this???

I forgot to mention. I use an ADODB-connection without a database control.
