    Similiar instance

On the same note- an invisible window also behaves irratically. For instance,
in a module of code, you should be able to create a new instance of a form
class, set it's properties (including position), create the handle, then
set it's visible flag to True.

No such luck (with mine anyhow), in order for positioning to take effect,
you must make the window visible first.

Are you using SuspendLayout and ResumeLayout?

    Re: Similiar instance

    Me.SuspendLayout
    Me.Child1.DisplayProp1
    Me.Child1.DisplayProp2
    Me.Child1.DisplayProp3
    Me.ResumeLayout

Essentially, it allows you to apply various formatting and what-not to child
controls without painting each time a property is set (I think).

If you look at generated code for a form with a few controls on it, you will
    see these commands.

I stumbled on an article the other day that went into great detail on Layout
Logic, but I cannot seem to find it now. . .
