Q: Orion Studios IEBackStage and IEStudio OCX's
Hi,
Has anyone had any experience with the abovementioned controls from
http://www.orionstudios.com? I foolishly paid for the two, hoping that the
missing Help files might miraculously show up in the registered version, but
I was wrong. Numerous requests for help, with regards to the cryptic Methods
and Properties have gone unanswered, or I have been told that an awesome new
product is on the way and that I can have it at a discount price. I only
want the Help files for *these* products ...
Outwardly, the controls are great, allowing access to little known IE4/5
options, however, the absence of the Help file makes them all but useless ie
No method to tell me how to load a page locally.
Any help with these controls would be most appreciated.
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Tony-
I have the iebackstage one too, and I was disappointed with the help
files also. Anyways, here's the extent of the help file.
http://www.orionstudios.net/iebackst...hitecture.html - That's the help
file, except on the web. The local version I found in my Program Files\Orion
Studios\Orion Studios directory. It's pretty weak, it just lists the methods
and properties, and a short description. Doesn't explain how to use it at
all though. *sigh* I don't have the istudio one, so I can't help you there.
(I can't find the url to download it, seems to be non-existant now)
Hope this helps.

Re: Orion Studios IEBackStage and IEStudio OCX's
Hi Rick,
Thanks for the URL. Yes, I see that it's the same as the meagre "Help" file
content. Amazing that they would produce pretty good products without some
form of guide.
Ah well...buyer beware ...
