How do I set a Hotkey to a VB Addin?

I have a addin I am working on for the company I work for. The problem arises in that my
boss wants to assign CTRL+keys to certain functions inside the addin.

How do I do this? I have the addin done, up to the point where I have the menu items
showing the shortcut, and you can click the menu item to do the task, but how do I trap
for the CTRL+F11 key and so forth?

Try .ShortcutText property of the commandbar button you are adding.

Check out the October '98 VBPJ (Visual Basic Programmer's Journal).

The Black Belt programming article by Francesco Balena shows how you can do
    it.

The ShortcutText property doesn't do anything.

BTW, if you find a better way to do it, please post it here, because the
technique described in the article is a bit involved.
