    Windows XP


    When i run my program on XP the only thing that changes is the title bar,
    but buttons and all other controls stay the same, like they were in windows
    98.... how do i make my program use windows XP styles?

    It's not officially supported by Microsoft to use visual styles in VB
    apps. But it's possible, even if the result isn't flawless. The basics
    are covered here

    If you use Common Controls, make sure you use the VB5 library
    (Comctl32.ocx) and not the VB6 controls (Mscomctl.ocx).

    I do not think you can do that, unless you design you own set of controls
    or get third party controls.

    Use Api function to find out windows version
    depending on that version make changes in Buttons

    Api :
    Private Declare Function GetVersionEx Lib "kernel32" Alias "GetVersionExA"

    (lpVersionInformation As OSVERSIONINFO) As Long
