    Permission Denied

I'm using the File object's "delete" method to delete a file. However, I get
the following message "permission denied" when I try to delete the file.
I gave "Everyone" full control to the folder and file but I still get the
message. Does anyone encountered this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It could be because the file is in use -- can you delete it from
    Explorer?

I have encountered a problem (even when using windows explorer deleting files)
with windows that it does not always recognize when the file is no longer
being used. To check this reboot the computer and without opening the file
see if it can be deleted using the file system object.
