When I do a sqlplus <user>/<password> it takes almost 15 seconds to give me
the prompt. once I quit the session, the next time i try within a couple
of seconds it is almost instantaneous. Howeever when I try after a minute
or so response is again slow. There is nothing going on in the m/c (with
oracle) and I am connected to the m/c by telnet. The network has no problem
as I do not have problem with other oracle servers. Any ideas or pointers
to look at?
