I am not sure this is the best forum to post this on but here is the question.


I need to send out HTML formated email messages which have graphic elements
and form elements. I do not want to use the <img src...> tag since this
relies on having an open internet connection when viewing the email so the
image will be visible.

I want the image to be seen whether viewed on or off line. MS Outlook will
format the message if I send the image as an attachment; however, Outlook
express will not format it correctly and I would assume that NetScape and
Eudora would also not work.

If I build a message manually with Outlook I can get the image to be available
off line; however, the emails I need to send will be automatic so I need
to know how to format the message so the image will be available to any HTML
complient email viewer.
