    .dot files

    Hi

I wrote a template/add-in for word in the form of a .dot file. Now I need to
create a menu/toolbar for it and expose some of the relevant functions. I
    got as far as
tools/Customize/toolbars and added a new menu which I can make available
to my .dot file, but I am at a loss as to how to add any items to it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regards

    Tim

You probably already have, but when you create the new toolbar, make sure
you select your template from the dropdown list that appears so the toolbar
will be saved in your template rather than in Normal.dot

If you're looking to add your macros to the toolbar, on the Customize
dialog, select the Commands tab and scroll down to the Macros entry in the
Categories listbox - this will bring up a list of your macros. Then you just
drag the required item to your toolbar.

With the Customize dialog still showing, right-click on your new button and
    change it's properties.
