Were to find example designs
I am relatively new to designing Vb apps. I was wondering if there are any
sites out there or other avenues where I could find example forms or UI's.
Thanks for the help!

A good place to start (Should be compulsory reading, IMO) is
http://www.iarchitect.com/
Look for the "Hall of Shame" and "Hall of Fame"

Re: Were to find example designs
There are a few simple rules, the two major ones are:
1. Be consistent!
2. Stick with the way the operating system does things, don't invent your
own method of doing things, unless you really need to.
Also, make sure you read the Windows UI Design Guidelines

Enjoy

Re: Were to find example designs
I would just look at the applications everyone uses and imitate there style.
And then take the ones you like.
Last thing don't be afraid to innovate but I personally don't like custom,
skinned and stuff like that.
