Controlling Word from VFP: replacement in Footnotes
VFP 6.0 SP5, MS Office 97
I used, in a little informing letter to the clients, one of the methods described
in Tamar Granor's book about Automation; I used codes of the kind "!FieldCode!"
(about 10 fields in all) and I replaced field by field the actual value.
Two of the fields are in the Footnotes area. Based on the Find and Replace
in Word, which works with occurences both in the body of the document and
in the Footnotes area, I was sure that everything will be fine. But, surprise,
in the Footnotes area replacements are not made.
I think that for the Footnotes area I must use another object, but I don't
find it in the professional documents I have.
Any help?
TIA,
John Sandu.

Check out the section in Chapter 4 about Headers and Footers. It'll
show you the relevant objects.
