    ROWNUM is not working in MS ACCESS

    select rownum from emp;

    I am trying to get all record numbers of table emp from ASP. It is not recognising
    ROWNUM. Is there any separate reserve word in MS ACCESS?

    It might be reserved...try changing the name or try an alias in your sql like

    select rownum as rn from emp;

    If you are attempting to retrieve a certain number of rows use the TOP keyword.
