I think I've figured out an explanation for the blank responses we always
see on this NG.

Hitting the TAB key advances the focus to the Post button, where the Enter
key posts the message. (at least in IE)

So, the hapless responder does to the first line after the original messag,
hits tab, doesn't see a cursor, so she hits Enter. This Posts the message.

So, I guess we have to remember not to hit the TAB key when posting..
