speaking of yelling, are you coming to Redmond (just kidding -- although
we do know that sometimes the discussions there get heated)? I'm no
longer a j16 member (the membership fee has become outrageous!) but I'm
    subscribed to the reflectors.

I was planning to (my company was paying). However, due to the Sept
11th Attack and the economy, we lost much business, and they can no longer
afford to fly me out. With luck, we'll be back up in time for the Curacao
meeting! (If not, I'll probably pay for it myself)

BTW, what are the membership fees for you? In the US, it's $600 to
ANSI, plus $600 to ISO, which is steep, but the company paid for it back
    when times were better......

Well, for me it used to be $600 per annum (individual, international
program). This year they raised it to $800. I decided not to renew my
membership this year but the Chair said I could remain subscribed to the
reflectors, which is practically all I do anyway so why pay an extra
    $800:)
Are you subscribed to any of the reflectors?

I read just the "all" reflector and the "library". Neither has been
very contentious while I've been read it.
